The Mobile Extension Platform is designed to allow safe access for workers when loading hatches, servicing road tankers and trucks, storage tanks and many other jobs where safety access is required from on top. The platform provides the operator with quick access onto the work area, and safe completion of the planned activities.
Adjusting the platform to the required working height is easy with the sliding ladder of the platform operated by a simple winch mechanism.
The shift of the sliding ladder has a self locking mechanism for hoisting and lowering, with the platform providing problem free crossing from the ladder onto the tank or working surface.
The work station and platform area is secured with aluminium guard railing, meaning a worker can focus on their job with the additional security of attachment to the overhead fall arrest attachment point with a retractable fall arrester and safety harness.. If the top of the work area is curved, for example on a tanker, or if there is risk of a fall beneath the platform guard rail then fall arrest protection is imperative.
